​If you are interested in genealogy and would like to help others with the same passion then consider volunteering with the Jewish Genealogical Society of Oregon.
​
We have many support opportunities available. They include presentation setup and helping other at in person programs, programming, membership, publicity, IT and more.

Membership
Membership in the Jewish Genealogical Society of Oregon is open to all, regardless of religious background or level of experience. Our members range from those just starting to trace their family background to long-time family researchers.

Dues are $10 a year for students, $23 a year for individuals and $30 a year for a family (January through December). Donations at higher levels help JGSO expand its services and are warmly welcomed. JGSO is 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

The Jewish Genealogical Society of Oregon strives to provide quality programs for its members and guests. Most of the presenters receive a fee for their presentations. These fees are paid for by the JGSO. If you find these programs beneficial then please consider making a donation to help continue our programming efforts.
